The Treetop Sisters are real life sisters. They are Ruby, Pearl, and Jade Ayers.
They are currently performing music written, by their dad, Terry Ayers. The sisters are typical little girls who love playing dress up, video games, and Barbies®.
They all live with their mom and dad in the beautiful Ozark mountains.
“Barry G has a marvelous sensibility for making music that speaks to young children.” --- FamilyManOnline
Barry G’s musical career began when he was five years old and his mom gave him a guitar. He hasn’t put it down since.
As a founding member of The Dream Jam Band, Barry G has toured across the country performing at festivals including Kidzapalooza and Taste of Chicago and at venues including Cleveland’s Playhouse Theater and Steamboat Springs. Along with the band, he was the featured guest performer on PBS TV’s Sprout, “Chica’s Big Birthday Surprise.” Dream Jam Band music videos are on high rotation on the new online music video channel for kids, myKaZootv (http://www.mykazootv.com).
With the Dream Jam Kids, Barry G’s first solo album was released on myKaZoo Music/Universal Music Enterprises. Huh-uh was produced by award-winning songwriter and producer Rick Chertoff (Cyndi Lauper, Joan Osborne, Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas). As they wrote the songs for Huh-uh, Chertoff and Barry G found inspiration from work songs, sea shanties, traditional folk and blues songs and field recordings that date back to the 1930s. The addition of the Dream Jam Kids’ voices invite listeners to sing along.
Barry G’s educational and charity work have won acclaim. He writes and composes musical theater productions for young audiences. As a performer for Dream Jam All Access: Music as a Gateway to Multi-Disciplinary Learning, a music education curriculum in elementary schools in New York State, he introduces kindergartners through song and story to a variety of musical genres.
“Randy Kaplan is one of those happy-they-exist people you can't quite tell is playing kids' music. And yet he is…”-- New York magazine
Randy Kaplan, chosen in 2012 by Time Out New York Kids as one of the top family music acts in the nation, is a new artist on the myKaZoo Music roster. He’s gained national acclaim and attention for his offbeat lyrics and hilarious live performances, combining super smart songwriting with witty interaction at his all-ages performances. His fourth not-JUST-for-kids release, Mr. Diddie Wah Diddie, pays tribute to America’s blues masters with hilarious, kid-friendly new lyrics, introduced by a gravelly voiced Delta denizen named Lightnin’ Bodkins.
The new myKaZoo/Universal Music Enterprises release was two years in the making and follows a string of critically acclaimed family music releases on Randy’s independent label. Five Cent Piece (2006) was called a “masterwork” by The Brooklyn Paper and “as vital a part of your child’s proper development as milk, sunshine and challenging established orthodoxies.” Loquat Rooftop appeared on numerous national Top Ten lists in 2008, notably NPR’s. The single “No Nothing” became a SIRIUS-XM RADIO hit and was nominated for Best Children’s Song of the Year by Just Plain Folks. Mindsmack TV created an animated video for the CD’s second single, “The Ladybug without Spots,” which may be viewed on myKaZootv.com. Randy’s 2010 release, The Kids Are All Id, was a top-5 Parent Pick on Nickelodeon’s Parentsconnect poll, and it won a 2010 Gold Award from the National Parenting Publications of America (NAPPA). His recent single “Don’t Fill Up on Chips” became a hit on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and it was an International Songwriting Competition finalist.
Randy grew up on Long Island, lived for a long time in Brooklyn and currently resides in Los Angeles. He has also called New Orleans and Lawrence, Kansas, home. During the 1990s, Randy helped shape the Los Angeles coffeehouse scene, performing with Dan Bern, Eleni Mandell, Danny Peck and Chuck E. Weiss and later with his band “i” at venues such as The Roxy, The Whiskey and The Troubadour. He has received several ASCAP awards for his grown-up songwriting.
"Shel Silverstein's wit, Cat Stevens' sound, Jimmy Buffett's crowd appeal..." –BEST OF CINCINNATI, Cincinnati Magazine
Zak Morgan’s grandfather used to spin silly rhymes and stories, and his penchant for wordplay had a profound effect on his later career as a top children’s recording artist and entertainer. The Kenyon College graduate worked at a dude ranch in Wyoming, where he entertained children and at night he performed for family audiences. There, the seeds of his career as a children's performer were planted. In 1995 Morgan moved to New York City to work for Recorded Books, Inc., a leading publisher of audio books. There, Morgan combined his humor, musical talents and expertise in children's literature and began writing the songs for his first CD, Bloom (1999). His debut album was met nationally with rave reviews and prestigious awards. His 2003 release When Bullfrogs Croak was nominated for a GRAMMY. He then released a DVD, ZakLand, in 2007, and a concept album about the Golden Rule, The Candy Machine, in 2011. His first release with myKaZoo Music is The Barber of the Beasts, featuring artwork by C.F. Payne and guest artist Bootsy Collins among others.
Zak Morgan performs more than 200 shows a year, using music, magic, theater and comedy to encourage children to read books and exercise their imaginations. His unrestrained stage presence always leaves a lasting impression. For more information and the latest news, visit www.mykazoomusic.com, and www.zakmorgan.com
When internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Jason Ringenberg created his family music character Farmer Jason, he had no idea he was launching what would prove to be the most commercially successful creation of his storied career. With Jason and the Scorchers in the 1980s, Jason pioneered the fusion of punk rock and country that helped birth the modern Americana and alt-country genres. There is a Scorchers exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and they are recipients of the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The Times (UK) called Jason “one of the most dynamic live performers of his generation.” Jason could rest easy, assured that his place in rock ‘n’ roll history was secure.
However, by the early 2000s it was time for a change. Jason was living on a farm west of Nashville with his young family and itching to try something different, something more organic and family-oriented. Remembering his boyhood on an Illinois farm where he learned to love nature while teaching himself to play guitar and harmonica, he created the family music character Farmer Jason in 2002. His first release, A Day at the Farm with Farmer Jason was meant as some fun songs for his daughters to enjoy. The project earned kudos like Disney’s Family Fun Magazine’s Best of the Year list. Soon kids were singing along to “The Tractor Goes Chug Chug Chug” at Farmer Jason family concerts all over North America and Europe in venues ranging from fairs on the Alaskan tundra to private schools in posh central London.
Rockin’ in the Forest followed in 2006, which solidified Farmer Jason’s position in the family music world as a prominent artist, earning awards like a Parents’ Choice Gold Award and Children’s Record of the Year listing by the Los Angeles Times. Nashville Public Television noticed this phenomenon in their backyard and decided to produce an Emmy Award-winning video interstitial program using the Farmer Jason songs and personality called “It’s a Farmer Jason.”
Now the story continues with the latest release, Nature Jams, by Farmer Jason and Buddies on myKaZoo Music/Universal Music Enterprises. This is the most ambitious and adventurous Farmer Jason project to date. An amazing list of guest artists sing duets with Farmer Jason about nature subjects and outdoor activities like whale watching, ice skating, hiking and spelunking.

New Companies Providing Parent-Friendly, Educational and Entertaining Media for Kids Ages 2 to 8
Los Angeles, January 2012 – Bruce Resnikoff, President & CEO, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), announced today a partnership with two leading music industry executives, Rick Dobbis and Richard Ellis, to create myKaZoo Music and myKaZootv, two multi-platform children’s and family entertainment companies designed to reach parents and kids where they live today. Together, the new companies will bring a fresh approach to family music, presenting top kid-centric artists via new media platforms and marketing initiatives designed to expand the category.

The company aims to tap into new marketing opportunities to reach today’s super-connected families, while tapping into the similar explosion of professionally produced, smart and child-appropriate programming that the savviest family music artists create every day.
